Patrick Hesse
Copypat · Guitar teacher · Session & touring guitarist
Patrick Hesse, also known as ‘Copypat’, is a guitarist with experience on national and international stages. His first live show was in 2006 with Megrim. Today he combines modern heavy sounds with precise playing, an ear for tone and the ability to adapt to different bands.
His musical journey spans pop and punk, hard rock, deathcore and power metal. His work also includes film music and sound design with the Film Acting School Cologne, and composing and performing live music at the Deutsches Theater Göttingen.
In 2025 he toured as a guitarist with AEON GODS and Dark Oath. Since 2026 he has been a permanent member of AEON GODS. He brings this perspective from rehearsal rooms, studios and life on tour into his work as a guitar teacher.
His coaching focus
Modern metal and rock, clean technique, precise rhythm playing and a tone that works in the band mix. This also includes recording, playing with a click and backing tracks, and preparing for live shows.
Music in a band context.
A part needs to work not only on its own, but with the whole band. Patrick’s work as a session and touring guitarist combines technique, timing, tone and musical adaptability – exactly what matters when playing together.
