An accessible and motivating introduction to making music.
Ideal for anyone wanting an easy start – also a stepping stone to other string instruments.
Enjoyment comes first: you play complete songs early on and build the basics step by step.
Sound better together – ensemble playing, timing, arrangements and rehearsals.
For hobby bands and ambitious projects – whether you have just formed or already play regularly.
A band is more than the sum of its musicians. We help you sound like a unit – musically and personally – guided by your level and goals.
Ready for the stage – with practical experience from life as a performing musician.
For musicians who want to perform or already do – from the first gig to the next tour.
Practice rather than theory: we look at your upcoming shows, material and role, and prepare you specifically for them.
Good preparation builds confidence on stage – but nobody can guarantee performances or touring success.
In-person lessons in Friedland's Niedernjesa district, south of Göttingen. We agree on the exact meeting point when you enquire.
Home visits in Göttingen and the surrounding area. Duderstadt, Hann. Münden and Adelebsen are also possible by arrangement – these are not additional school locations.
Online lessons from anywhere, in German or English. You need an instrument, a camera and stable internet; an audio interface or USB microphone is recommended.
For beginners of all ages and returning players – including adults and working learners. No previous knowledge or stage experience is needed. We agree on your learning goals and pace together.
Clean picking, palm muting, relaxed movement and precise rhythm playing. Speed comes from control; we work at your level.
Quad Cortex, Kemper and Neural DSP plugins: gain, articulation and a tone that works in the band mix. Equipment is a tool, not a requirement for getting started.
Recording guitars at home: DI signals, timing, phase and editing. We review your playing and recording together rather than just adjusting a plugin.
Playing with a click and backing tracks, in-ear setups, set preparation and handling mishaps on stage – practical and focused on your goals.
Patrick brings stage experience since 2006, tours with AEON GODS and Dark Oath in 2025, and his work as a permanent member of AEON GODS since 2026. Lessons connect this experience with your next achievable step – even if you are starting from scratch.

music@copypat.deStart with relaxed movements, a steady rhythm and simple riffs. We build clean picking, palm muting and precise playing with a click or backing tracks on this foundation – without putting speed before control.
We first check timing, unwanted noise and the DI signal. Then we look at gain, tone in the band mix and phase in multitrack recordings. Recording and editing should support your playing, not hide it.
We structure the setlist, rehearse transitions and agree on clear routines. If you use a click, backing tracks or in-ear monitoring, we practise that setup too. Good preparation builds confidence but does not guarantee success on stage.
